What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinician position at New Brunswick Counseling Center?
The New Brunswick Counseling center is currently seeking a full-time position of Licensed Clinician, Recovery Court Coordinator at our New Brunswick location. The Recovery Court Coordinator serves as the liaison between the Recovery Court and our Agency.
This role is responsible for coordinating and managing services for Recovery Court clients, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
- Referral Coordination:
- Coordinate all referrals received from Recovery Court probation officers.
- Intake Scheduling and Financial Assessment:
- Schedule all intakes.
- Collaborate with the Billing Director to determine clients’ financial needs for funding services.
- Patient Information Management:
- Collect and manage all patient information, including patient ID and financial information.
- Ensure existing patient information is always current.
- Intake Execution:
- Conduct all intakes for Recovery Court clients.
- Treatment Planning:
- Meet with clients to review their treatment plans and prepare appropriate treatment plans.
- Communication with Probation Officers:
- Provide clients’ level of care recommendations to their probation officers.
- Continuously update probation officers on clients’ progress as required.
- Weekly Client Meetings:
- Meet with clients once a week to monitor and support their progress.
- Group Facilitation:
- Prepare materials and facilitate a one-day group session.
- Team Collaboration:
- Attend weekly meetings with the Recovery Court Team.
Qualifications:
- Licensed clinician LAC/LSW/LCADC/LPC with relevant credentials.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in case management or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial assessment and billing processes is a plus.
