Job Description:
F-35 WIPT Logistics Deputy Task Leader. This senior weapons logistician delivers logistical and technical support for the F-35 as a member of the Weapons Integration Product Team (WIPT).This position also requires leadership and management of the contract employees performing the technical effort of the WIPT. This position is located at Eglin AFB, Florida.
The successful applicant will be responsible to advise and assist the Government customer:
In planning and conducting developmental test and evaluation of weapon integration projects for the F-35 program, specifically involving weapon system integration and certification, certification roadmap development, weapon interfaces, and weapon supportability.
With Interface Control Working Groups (ICWGs), Technical Information Meetings (TIMs), and other relevant weapon integration interchanges, and provide a technical assessment of the adequacy, actions required for interface control, provide supplemental content and identify any technical disconnects.
On contractor performance, schedule, and cost issues with respect to F-35 integration and aircraft flight testing.
Manage personnel hiring, training, rewards and motivation.
Maintain staff liaison for budget, HR and security execution and support.
Characterize technical and organizational risks.
Liaison required at the warfare center IPT levels.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A high school diploma with 14 years of demonstrated experience in weapons/systems integration and test.
Must be able to obtain and maintain program security clearances.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience at the contract/task order level.
Must be able to travel as required.
