What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at New England Air Systems?
New England Air Systems is looking for a Service Technician to serve our Vermont and New Hampshire customers. A strong applicant will have have 5 years of experience with HVAC/R, the necessary certifications and experience to include large HVAC, refrigeration systems, and chillers. The successful candidate is a good problem solver, has high attention to detail and strives for excellence both in execution and in customer satisfaction.
Our service technicians respond to our clients needs by performing routine and emergency service on heating, cooling and refrigeration systems.

Your Typical Day Would Consist Of
- Performing routine and emergency service on commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Performing routine and emergency service on commercial and process refrigeration systems.
- Performing maintenance on commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Performing maintenance on commercial and process refrigeration systems.
- Completing all time-cards, work orders and purchase orders in timely manner.
- Communicating regularly with the dispatcher regarding job information and status.
- Inform customers of new or additional services or products that we could offer to them.
- Follow up on customer’s questions or complaints promptly.
- 5 years’ experience in commercial heating, air conditioning and refrigeration service
- EPA certification
- OSHA 10
- Type S electrical license - preferred
- Natural gas certification
- LP gas certification
- NORA Silver oil certification
- Valid driver’s license
