New England Truck Center is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Body Shop Manager for our Exeter, NH location.
Our Body Shop Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and activities of the body and paint shop, including a team of 5, as well as vendor and customer relations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Create estimates using company software. Perform cost estimations and create supplements.
- Work with insurance companies to process claims and establish payment.
- Maintain proper business operational documentation and customer repair files.
- Ensure customer requests/complaints are handled respectfully and in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjusters, vendors, and customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Forecast financial goals and objectives for the Body Shop.
- Oversee a team of body shop technicians.
- Track technician performance. Coach, counsel, develop and retain Technicians.
- Assist body shop technicians with work outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy.
- Inspect vehicles for additional or hidden repairs.
- Ensure each vehicle is roadworthy upon completion of the job.
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe environment, and handle company tools properly.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably and be on your feet for several hours at a time.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Compensation: Salary, up to $80,000.00 (BOE). Monday - Friday, 45 Hour Work Week.
