As our Maintenance and Service Technician you are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment at our 10 locations. You will provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and responds to emergency service calls on equipment including cooler, freezers, HVAC, and Commercial Cooking Equipment units and more. You will take ownership of facilities upkeep and safety. Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently completes corrective and preventative maintenance as assigned.
2. Facilities Maintenance.
3. Performs minor electrical repairs, installations and maintenance. Tasks to include (but not limited to) replacement of wall switches, outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs, ballasts, transformers, sockets and fuses, motors etc. General understanding of network setup/wiring.
4. Performs minor plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation. Tasks to include repairing of leaks in water supplies, drains, faucets and lavatory (urinal/toilet) fixtures, ice machines. Clears obstructions from drain lines
5. Performs minor HVAC maintenance and repairs. Routine tasks to include filter replacement, belt changes and greasing of bearings, occasional motor replacement.
6. Performs minor carpentry repairs. Tasks to include repairs to masonry, woodwork, walls and furnishings, patches or replaces plaster/plaster board, paints walls and ceilings and trim, cuts and lays flooring (tile).
7. Performs general landscaping tasks as necessary. Replaces sprinklers, repair broken lines, replace valves. May replace plants, spray weeds, or other duties as necessary.
8. Performs general maintenance and upkeep on Gas Pumps. Example: Change filters, clean, replace printers. Experience preferred but willing to train.
9. Must have a technical aptitude to communicate with service technicians to resolve issues via phone support.
10. Ability to operate motor vehicles with or without trailers. Ability to operate all kinds of tools in an efficient and safe manner. Must keep work area and vehicle maintained and organized.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
*Experience in servicing/repairing restaurant equipment.
*Provide excellent customer service to our guests and teams.
*Able to respond to emergency situations during and after hours.
*Travel 10%. Occasional overnight-stay each month to service remote location.
*Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook®, Word®, and Excel®, along with basic computer network.
*Requires a good driving record.
*Maintain a good personal appearance and hygiene.
*Pass Drug Screen and Background Check.
*Maintain a Valid Driver License with a good driving record.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
