Key Responsibilities:
- Install and program security alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and smart home automation systems (Control4) from start to finish
- Perform audio/video installations, basic networking, and customer training
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to alarm systems, cameras, and A/V components
- Conduct site walk-throughs for both residential and commercial installations
- Maintain detailed notes in CRM, including job photos, completion updates, and service reports
- Provide exceptional remote and phone-based customer support when needed
- Participate in training and ongoing technical education
- Travel locally to jobsites throughout Conroe, Houston, and surrounding areas
Qualifications:
- Control4 Certification is required
- Valid Texas Security License on file with the state
- Minimum of 2 years experience in installing and servicing:
- Security camera systems (IP/PoE preferred)
- Alarm systems (Qolsys, 2GIG, Alarm.com experience a plus)
- Audio/Video systems and smart home technology
- Experience with access control systems is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills; ability to work independently or with a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Must pass a background check
