About the Role :
New Gig Solutions is seeking an experienced Remote Tax Reviewer to support our client, a leading Tax Strategist Firm specializing in tax planning, compliance, and resolution services for individuals and businesses. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a detail-oriented tax professional who excels at reviewing complex tax returns and ensuring accuracy while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze individual, business, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRS regulations.
- Identify and resolve tax discrepancies, errors, and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure all tax-saving strategies and deductions are properly applied.
- Work closely with tax preparers, CPAs, and Enrolled Agents to provide feedback and ensure high-quality tax filings.
- Stay up to date with IRS regulations, tax law changes, and compliance requirements .
- Provide recommendations for tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Communicate with clients when necessary to clarify tax-related questions or missing documentation.
- Assist with tax audits, amended returns, and IRS correspondence as needed.
