Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities :
- Meal Service : Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing, and timely in accordance with the current menu, following time and temperature standards.
- Setup : Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room.
- Diet Compliance : Serve food according to current diet, texture, and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures.
- Quality Check : Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution.
- Delivery : Deliver food carts, trays, and other items to designated areas.
- Cleanup : Remove soiled carts and dishes from the dining area upon completion of meal service.
- Dishwashing : Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure readiness for the next meal.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available
