Do you want the chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of mothers and children? New Generation, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, is looking for a self-motivated individual to join our management team as Family Services Manager will oversee the integrity and implementation of all case management plans/programs and assist the Executive Director with program and policy evaluations and implementation. They will also provide regular supervision, support, and training to all Resident Support Staff (RSS). 


Many pregnant and single mothers experience homelessness due to domestic violence, financial hardship, mental health issues and substance use, among other challenges. New Generation provides comprehensive support – including a family-oriented shelter, transitional housing and stabilization program – to empower mothers with the skills, confidence and resources to build self-sufficient lives for their families. 


Responsibilities

· Oversee the development and implementation of family and individual case management plans for each program participant and ensure that families are connected to relevant services outside of the agency.

· Manage specific children services such as being a liaison between DCYF and family as needed, assist in school registration and McKinney Vento compliance, provide referrals and access to outside providers.

· Ensure that programs’ participants adhere to policies and rules.

· Work together with CCNH’s Our Place to coordinate the provision of weekly group parenting sessions.

· Track and report Family Services outcomes throughout the use of CCNH’s data collection system (Apricot), and funders’ reporting systems (i.e., HMIS).

· Work with Executive Director on the implementation of new program initiatives based on the needs of families and the agency’s capacity (i.e., Mobility Mentoring, Job Readiness curriculum, etc.).

· Oversee the provision of transportation services to families in the emergency shelter.

· Represent New Generation during meetings with community partners that provide services to the same target populations (i.e., Safe Harbor, New Frontiers Church, Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), Strength to Succeed, Waypoint Youth Outreach, Greenland Community School, Kids Culture Childcare, etc.).

· Assist the Executive Director with developing, implementing, and evaluating programs policies, procedures, and standards.

· Collaborate with the Executive Director to design weekly program schedules for staff and programs participants.

Requirements

 · experience in Social Services.

· Case Management qualifications as designed by the State of NH. 

· Valid Driver’s License. 

· CPR/First Aid Certification (must receive certification within 90 days of employment). 

· Ability to transport residents in personal vehicle.
