New Haven Center for Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

PTA Duties Include:
- Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions following physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
- Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referral to a Registered Physical Therapist.
- Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision
- Measuring & recording Residents motor function, strength, and muscle performance
- Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies them during treatment sessions as necessary.
- Observe residents and write progress reports.
