DRIVER - Full Time
New Jersey Reentry Corporation, a non-profit organization located in Kearny, NJ seeks an energetic and reliable full-time driver. The candidate will work closely with the Facility Director and will transport clients to and from the various programs in our Kearny facility. Qualified candidates will have a clean driving record, at least 1 year of driving experience in the Hudson County, NJ area, and will undergo a background screening including driving abstracts.
Responsibilities include:
- Availability M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm
- Interact with clients in a professional manner
- Work occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed
- Complete daily maintenance checks on the van and notify the Director
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Monitor the front desk area during office time
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience in the Hudson County area
- Clean driving record
- Ability to manage time and routes for streamlined pick-up/drop-offs
- Work well independently
- Open and transparent communication with colleagues
- Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
Salary:
The starting salary is $30,940. Salary Negotiable.
