**Job Summary:**

We are a Christian Center seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a passion for literacy education, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with children of various ages and abilities, and are eager to make a positive impact on their educational journey. Love working with and being engaged with small children. Experience teaching the Abeka Curriculum a plus.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, including those with special education needs.

- Provide one-on-one instructional teaching and small group instruction to students, focusing on literacy education and promoting a love of learning.

- Create and maintain a safe and engaging physical education environment that encourages students to participate in various activities.

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills among students.

- Conduct daily toddler care activities, including preparing snacks and maintaining a clean and organized classroom.

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and provide feedback on their child's strengths and areas of improvement.

- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting lesson plans as needed to ensure students are meeting their academic and social goals.

**Experience:**

- Experience working with children of various ages and abilities, including those with special education needs.

- Proven experience in literacy education and tutoring.

- Experience in physical education, including planning and leading group activities.

- Experience with behavior management strategies and techniques.

- Experience in childcare, including preparing snacks and maintaining a clean and organized classroom.

**Skills:**

- Experience educating children and creating engaging lesson plans.

- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.

- Knowledge of literacy education and teaching techniques.

- Experience with behavior management strategies and techniques.

- Experience with physical education and leading group activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
