New Orleans Integrated Technologies is a computer IT business located in New Orleans, LA. currently seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant onsite Monday-Friday 8-5 (this is not a remote position)
Knowledge Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in general bookkeeping and hands on accounting experience specializing in Quickbooks
- Experience in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience in account analysis and banking deposit transactions including multiple bank reconciliations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties with ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Job Description and Responsibilities- the responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Quickbooks reports and invoicing to customers
- Post and process Accounts Payable vendor invoices and payments data entry
- Post and process Accounts Receivable customer invoices and payments data entry
- Prepare account reconciliations with credit card transaction data entry
- Posting of expenses and vendor purchases for equipment and supplies
- Various office administrative and clerical support duties including file organization
