New Ridge Brewing Co. is a full-scale brewery and restaurant in the heart of Roxborough, PA. We feature house made beer, eloquent pub food, and local wines and spirits. We provide an approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, and beer-forward style of true hospitality, while pushing the envelope of creativity and excellence in our neighborhood.
NRBC host/support staff are the backbone of the brewery experience for our guests. They keep the flow of service moving forward by staying engaged with pace of seating, guests, staff, table maitenance, and sidework.
Job Requirements/Responsibilities include:
- Night and weekend availability required.
- Treats all guests with outstanding hospitality upon arrival, during their stay, and when leaving.
- Maintains & exercises beer/culinary knowledge!
- Adhere to NRBC’s teamwork mentality. Is willing to work with coworkers and management to seat guests, answer questions, run food, bus tables, and support the shift in all areas that are needed.
- Communicate potential guest conflicts/issues with management.
- Manage a steady pace of seating while communicating seating trends with kitchen/management every shift.
- Prioritize guest’s needs/wants with proper seating rotation.
- Stay polite, consistent, and informed with all guest inquiries.
- Perform daily sidework, opening, and closing duties with detail and efficiency.
- Adheres to NRBC safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Exemplifies professional courtesy/demeanor on and off the clock while on NRBC premises.
- Maintains professional work relationships...while being nice! NRBC runs on respect and communication. We love to have fun, but we treat each other kindly above all else.
Job Qualifications:
- One year of previous hospitality experience
- Interest in brewing and beer culture preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to multitask
