New South Parking is the transportation service provider for the New Orleans International Airport located in Kenner, Louisiana.
Our administrative offices are located directly across the street from the New Orleans International Airport on the ground floor of the Long Term Parking Garage.
A valet manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a valet parking operation including hiring and training valet staff, managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining vehicle safety, and coordinating parking logistics to provide a smooth guest experience; essentially acting as the leader of the valet team, prioritizing efficient parking management and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities of a valet manager:
Staff Management:
· Recruit, hire, and train new valet attendants.
· Assign shifts and manage staff schedules.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
· Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
Operational Oversight:
· Monitor valet operations to ensure smooth traffic flow and efficient parking.
· Manage parking lot logistics, including designated parking areas and vehicle retrieval procedures.
· Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and guest information.
· Implement safety protocols for vehicles and staff.
Customer Service:
· Ensure valet attendants provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests.
· Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
· Maintain positive relationships with other departments within the establishment.
Financial Management:
· Track valet revenue and expenses.
· Monitor and manage budget for valet operations.
· Implement strategies to maximize valet service utilization.
