Our growing company is in search for new talent for the role of Feed Accounting & Customer Service Specialist.
Summary: Provide customer service and clerical support for feed order entry, billing and feed ingredient inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Take customer feed orders by phone, electronically or fax and enter them into the software system.
- Take customer service phone calls or initiate communication about delivery or invoices.
- Process customer bag orders and coordinate each order with the Worthington warehouse.
- Maintain swine production group codes.
- Process business statements according customer requests and payment terms.
- Provide customer feed consumption reports as requested.
- Review feed orders for proper information and drug ration compliance.
- Invoice feed orders.
- Reconcile accounts receivable payments and apply to customer accounts.
- Apply inventory transfers between locations.
- Generate PO’s for feed ingredients.
- Change corn and soybean meal prices daily to reflect market changes.
- File feed documents.
- Perform month end billing, statement assembly and mailing.
- Perform end of day close out.
- Reconcile bag and bulk feed ingredient delivery documents into software system.
- Enter vendor payable for ingredient delivery documents.
- Generate the New Vision Coop Retail Feed Price list.
- Accept additional responsibilities as directed by Feed Department Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Valid driver's license

Salary : $33,200 - $42,000
