It is our mission at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery to improve the quality of life for individuals with mental disabilities. Our goal is to increase the level of functioning of clients with the ultimate goal of enabling the resident to achieve independent living as a productive member of the community and enhance their quality of life. Our Activities Assistant is responsible for engaging the residents in programs that will meet their interests, and the physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being of a personal care home. We are looking for an energetic self-starting Activity Assistant to join our dynamic & expanding program. The set schedule is Tuesday - Saturday 12pm-8:30pm. Great schedule for work/life balance!
Qualifications include a required High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of two (2) years paid experience in the human services field. Driver's license and background check are mandatory.
