Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise, guide, train, and participate in a variety of social skills and developmental activities, with clients.
- Serves as in-take specialist and expedites process for new clients. (Gathers historical data, compiles reports for LMHP’s review, etc.)
- Identify behaviors that interfere with client’s performance.
- Conducts or assists in facilitating psychosocial skills training group sessions.
- When applicable, provide one-on-one intervention.
- Q15 minute checks
- Record any deficiencies occurring during training sessions.
- Attend training and other developmental sessions to continue to improve job performance.
- Must be self-motivated
- Must exhibit leadership ability

Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's behavioral and emotional status.
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in psychiatric patients' conditions and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patients and their family members or caretakers.
- Monitor security procedures to ensure safety of psychiatric technician team and patients.
- Adhere to ethical standards regarding patient care.
- Communicate effectively with family members, medical personnel, security staff, and other personnel.
- Work as part of a team.
