What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horseback Riding Instructor position at New York Equestrian Center?
The New York Equestrian Center is looking for passionate, charismatic, and professional riding instructors to join our team and help our riders achieve their goals. We are looking for instructors with experience in the Hunter, Jumper or Equitation rings. PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors or trainers with existing clientele bases are highly encouraged to apply!
New York Equestrian Center is a busy riding stable located in West Hempstead New York. We offer a variety of different programs geared towards equestrians of all levels and ages. NYEC students are encouraged to participate in home, local and rated horse shows within the Tri-State Area. Our goal is to promote that riding is an option for the general population and we thrive on promoting that in a supportive, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere. Our riders range from ages 5-75 and we teach first timers to 2’6. Applicants must be comfortable and flexible enough to teach everyone and anyone in that range.
Applicants must be professional, organized, and accountable with weekend availability. Must have equestrian based references available. Compensation and riding opportunities to be discussed after the initial interview process.
