In this role you will:
- Take medical histories.
- Accompany physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam
- List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
- Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
- Document any procedures performed by the physician.
- Enter information into EMR systems.
We require:
- A New York Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant, or Science Major (Biology) or at least 1 year as a medical scribe Background Preferred.
- At least 1 year of working in a medical facility.
- Outstanding computer knowledge.
- Superb writing and vocabulary skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish a plus.
Salary up to $35 per hour.
