Job Description
The Stamford Health heart care team is seeking an office-based, temporary Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner to oversee the clinic on a per diem basis. The position involves providing comprehensive medical care to cardiac surgery patients in an outpatient setting, including performing therapeutic, corrective, and prescriptive measures. Responsibilities include preoperative evaluations, patient education, scheduling patients, and postoperative visits.
Become a critical member of the cardiac surgery team and provide comprehensive outpatient care to surgical patients while working closely with a prestigious surgical team focused on delivering exceptional patient-centered care from preoperative preparation through postoperative recovery.
Schedule: 3 shifts per week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 8AM to 4PM.
Location: Medical Office Building within Stamford Hospital’s main campus.
Minimum qualifications:
- Licensed APRN within the state of Connecticut
- Cardiac experience highly preferred.
