Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and drive the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end program execution across global teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and delivering high-impact outcomes. You will manage program planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication, leveraging tools like SmartSheets and Jira to ensure transparency and accountability. This role requires a strategic thinker with over 10 years of experience in technical program management, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
Understands the scope of work as defined by the business requirements, solution designs and established quarterly commitments (POR) or prioritized backlog (investment Pods).
Identifies, confirms and obtains participation from required cross-functional teams. Works with the Global IT TPM lead and team partners to complete this task.
Builds delivery plans and maintains program record. Works with the core team to identify and schedule all the work for end-to-end tech readiness required to fulfill program scope. Identifies and manages program critical path, being mindful of upstream and downstream dependencies.
Tracks and manages the program schedule and upstream and downstream dependencies. Analyzes the actual performance against the plan to ensure program milestones are accomplished and ensures overall committed timelines are met. Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders advised of progress and issues.
Performs risk management by identifying and managing critical paths and risk areas. Establishes contingency plans and identifies trigger events and assumes responsibility for initiation corrective actions. Escalates early to Global IT Planning & Delivery leadership for support.
Works with Global IT Planning & Delivery leaders, TPO and core team members to help identify and assist in making program tradeoffs to balance scope, time and costs, where needed. Ensures proper documentation.
Leverage SmartSheets, Jira and expected program planning best practices proficiently.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
10 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a related role, with a strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs.
Deep understanding of program lifecycle management, including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
Proven ability to build and manage end-to-end delivery plans, identify critical paths, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies across multiple teams.
Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with experience developing contingency plans and escalating issues proactively.
Proficiency in SmartSheets, Jira, and other program management tools, with a commitment to leveraging best practices in planning and execution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in global, matrixed environments, coordinating across time zones and organizational boundaries.
Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities of scope, time, and cost while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
Strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to program delivery.
