Job Summary
Touching Hearts Home Care Agency is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. As a PCA, you will provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or surgery. Your role will help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Assist with mobility support, including transfers and walking
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or personal assistance a plus
- Must be reliable, patient, and empathetic
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
