GENERAL SUMMARY:
This individual will play a key role in expanding our customer base through strategic deposit gathering and treasury management product sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial products, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for helping businesses achieve their financial goals. This candidate will primarily work directly with the lending team located within the Sugar Land and Rosenberg branches to mine additional depository and treasury management services from existing and potential lending clients in addition to organically sourced, stand-alone depository clients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new business clients and deepen relationships with existing customers.
• Identify opportunities to grow deposits and promote treasury management services to businesses and commercial clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, CFOs, and other financial decision-makers.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their banking needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized financial solutions for clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and function as a trusted financial advisor to clients.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities.
• Meet and exceed sales and business development targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business banking, treasury management, or financial services sales.
• Proven history of success in deposit gathering and business development.
• Working knowledge of treasury management products and services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
