This position requires a highly motivated and experienced Loan Servicing professional. They will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to internal and external clients. Responsibilities include servicing a portfolio of loans, addressing client inquiries, and interacting with Master Servicers, legal counsel, and internal team members.
The position involves managing a complex loan portfolio, monitoring payment delinquencies, coordinating collection inquiries, and researching customer inquiries. The individual must display strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability, and initiative.
We are seeking a candidate with a BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field. Experience in loan servicing portfolio management, including knowledge of GSE and CMBS products, is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel is required.
- Point of contact for Newmark servicing clients
- Service a portfolio of loans for multiple investors with various complexities
- Monitor, administer, or refer borrower requests to the appropriate Servicing functional business unit or outside party
- Read and interpret loan documents when presented with questions and issues related to their loan portfolio
- Facilitate payoff requests between borrower and payoff team
