Role: Senior Data Modeler
Irving, TX Hybrid with Initial Remote
Job Description:
- 10 years hand-on experience in Data Architecture, Data Science and/or Data Modeling expertise
- Extensive experience in relational/hierarchical/OLAP/Big Data concepts
- Hands-on modeling and metadata management tools
- Expertise in Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modeling, storage, security
- Good understanding of data governance - defining strategy, developing goals, principles, and policies
- Prior experience in data integration, interoperability, and data quality solutions.
- Analytical and problem solver, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of modeling tools such as Erwin or Magic Draw, Enterprise Architect et.
- Extremely good at Physical , logical, and conceptual Data Modeling
- Taxonomy , Canonical data modeling, Data Modeling Normalization -3NF
- Normalize Data Models from Scratch
- Metadata Standards Framework (naming, classword)
- In depth knowledge in anyone of modeling tools such as Erwin or Magic Draw or PowerDesigner or Enterprise Architect etc
- Exposure to the development or use of Erwin/Magicdraw Data Modeling Tool APIs
- Good understanding SKOS based Financial Industry Business Ontology or Banking Industry Data Models
Education:
- Bachelor s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Certification in Data Architecture / Modeling is a plus
