Position: Bus Driver - Full Time 
Location: Newton Community School District
Start Date: August 2025
Scheduled hours: Approximately 8 hours per day

Bus Driver Salary Schedule for 2025-2026

• Hourly Route Base Pay: $32.72 (scheduled regular routes are approximately 3 hours per day)
• Additional Route Pay: $20.55 (hours outside of the regular routes)

Additional Information
*School Day Routes (Monday - Friday)
*Additional hours available year round for activity trips and extracurricular activities ($20.55/hr).
*Bus Drivers receive IPERS retirement benefits
*CDL training provided
