Summary
Reporting to the Director, People Operations, the HR Generalist is a key member of the People Operations team and support. The ideal candidate will establish strong trusting relationships with all levels of leadership and, in many cases, be the first point of contact representing the People Operations team.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordination of the full life cycle of new and existing colleagues. Most importantly, this Generralist will provide onboarding support by assisting business leaders, hiring managers and new colleague with the onboarding process.
Position Duties
- Conducts new hire orientation and provide onboarding support to managers, including facilitation of onboarding process, probationary period reviews and development of onboarding tools to support colleagues and leaders across all functions
- Coordinate with appropriate departments and all levels of management to ensure that new colleagues have what they need for day one (i.e., equipment, email accounts, login, and systems credentials, etc.)
- Be the front line for our colleagues by answering questions and concerns about People Operations policies and processes
- Document and maintain process procedures for as it relates to new hire orientation
- Processing onboarding paperwork by providing manuals, guidelines, passwords, etc. for the new colleagues during new hire orientation
- Ensure compliance with E-Verify and oversee I9 regulation process
- Act as a resource to all new hires and their managers with questions and supply necessary resources needed to successfully bring them aboard
- Follow up with new colleagues to evaluate onboarding experience and recommend ways to enhance the new hire onboarding programs
- Work on new and existing projects specified by management
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, televisions, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

Qualifications
- Advanced digital literacy (Word, Excel, Power point)
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Proven time management skills (prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Able to work well under pressure
- Inquisitive and intuitive mindset to create and suggest new process improvement ideas
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with team as required
- Must demonstrate the highest standard in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Must be flexible and able to assess and change priorities, and have ability to effectively problem solve
- Must interact respectfully with others and work successfully in a team environment
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree highly desirable
- 3 years of work experience in a Human Resources

Salary : $46,300 - $58,600
