Fabrication Supervisor

Nexeo HR is seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of welders and fabricators in Hyde Park, UT! Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of 4–5 fabricators, ensuring seamless coordination, efficiency, and adherence to project deadlines. Foster a collaborative work environment that drives team performance and productivity.

• Hands-On Welding Support: Step in as needed to perform welding tasks, whether to address team absences or meet critical deadlines. Conduct thorough quality assessments of welds to ensure they meet or exceed stringent standards.

• Project Planning and Coordination: Strategically plan and stage projects, interpret blueprints with precision, and collaborate with project engineers to address and resolve issues such as missing or mismatched components.

• Quality Assurance: Oversee and inspect team members’ welds, providing detailed evaluations and final approval to ensure all work meets exacting standards of precision, durability, and craftsmanship.

• Versatile Material Expertise: Work with a diverse range of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and other metals, adapting techniques to suit material-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Heavy Fabrication: Demonstrated success in handling large-scale, custom fabrication projects across a variety of materials, showcasing a deep understanding of complex fabrication processes.

• Advanced Welding Proficiency: Exceptional welding skills with the ability to evaluate, assess, and approve weld quality to meet the highest standards.

• Proven Leadership Skills: Extensive experience in managing teams, coordinating workflows, and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

• Blueprint Interpretation and Project Layout: Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints to effectively stage, plan, and execute projects with precision and accuracy.

• Exceptional Problem-Solving: Adept at collaborating with engineers to address challenges, resolve project issues, and ensure seamless project completion.

Pay

$27.00 to $33.00 Per Hour DOE

Schedule

Day Shift | 6:00 or 7:00 AM – 4:30 or 5:30 PM | Monday – Thursday
