We are currently seeking a Data Engineer w / Data Lakehouse (Onsite) to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah (US-UT), United States (US).
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This person will be responsible for expanding Cloud-based data pipeline architecture for the various cross-functional Tax teams. The ideal candidate has experience building robust data pipelines and reporting tools. However, someone with a strong application development background with a keen interest in data engineering would be considered. The candidate will be collaborating extensively with Engineering, Tax Compliance and Tax Reporting teams to support functional use-cases and take data-driven decisions.
Job Responsibilities Include :
- Develop domain and data models to provide standardized reporting solutions to the firm (and understand differences between the two)
- Design and develop data ingest and transform processes
- Develop automation, governance and reporting solutions to provide firm and regulatory mandated controls
- Work as part of a global team using Agile software methodologies
- Partner with Tax risk, compliance and reporting teams
- Use data to drive change throughout the Tax business
