What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Clerk position at NexTerra Wine Company?
NexTerra Wine Company is a premier wine producer built on the belief that great wine begins in the vineyard. Headquartered just outside of Chicago, the 125,000-square-foot facility houses an onsite winery, state of the art bottling system and distribution center. The inventory clerk position is an advanced warehouse position, that will include order picking / fulfillment as well as inventory management functions. Typical hours for this position are 6:00 am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Occasional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays may be required during November and December. Our warehouse team directly supports our customers and may work on company holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Ensure proper safety procedures are being followed for daily operations
· Assist Picking Team as needed
· Perform inventory cycle counts each day (found on weekly schedule)
· Ensure that all inventory management procedures are being followed throughout our facility
· Receive product off the lines each day
Requirements:
· Candidates must be proficient with our Warehouse Management System
· Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
· Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and stand on concrete for extended periods
· Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing schedule due to the demands of our business and customers
· Excellent Math Skills
Competencies:
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organization skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Suite products
Physical Job Functions:
· Must be able to lift at least 35-50 lbs frequently
· Must be able to stand for 10 hours
