Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: Onsite – Englewood, CO or Littleton, CO
Position Overview
The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving and executing strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple categories. Reporting to senior sourcing leadership, this role partners closely with internal stakeholders to optimize spend, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable value through best-in-class sourcing and negotiation strategies. This position offers the opportunity to influence sourcing strategy at a high level while owning complex sourcing events end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical spend and purchasing data to develop and implement category strategies
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities within sourcing and supplier interactions
- Develop negotiation strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and deliver award recommendations
- Evaluate current suppliers and advise stakeholders on new and existing contract opportunities
- Own sourcing events end to end, including requirements development, documentation, and execution
- Draft and review contract language in collaboration with business units and legal partners
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate contractual and commercial risk
- Support vendor relationship management, including escalations and dispute resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and/or business analysis
- Proven experience managing complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results and value realization through sourcing activities
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality
- Procurement and/or Supply Chain professional certification preferred
