We are searching for a full-time career-oriented Outbound Supervisor with experience in Shared Fulfillment Distribution. Direct and manage workflow of team and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing daily shipping operations to maximize productivity and meet daily operational goals.
- Supervise picking and packing of orders.
- Coordinating warehouse activities in distribution processes in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy internal and external customer service.
- Assist warehouse with system updates.
- Ensure all department team members are trained in work related and safety procedures per company guidelines. Maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
- Monitor department and individual production numbers to meet budget guidelines and warehouse goals. Provide cost-saving measures and suggestions to management.
- Develop team leaders to oversee the daily routines of their roles. Ensure team leaders train, motivate and monitor team members to meet expected production goals.
- Evaluate team performance and develop performance improvement plans.
- Any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Company’s Values.
Is this role for you?
- 3 – 5 years' experience in warehouse operations / distribution
- Forklift experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience in a distribution environment (piece picking, small package, and LTL shipping)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Netsuite, UPS WorldShip, RF Smart experience a plus
- Must have extreme attention to detail, assuring warehouse is operating efficiently
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels
- Provide training to others
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential and required
Physical demands:
Individuals may need to stand for extended periods of time. May require walking continuously throughout the day, reaching above shoulder level, crouching down to work at floor level, and lifting up to 50 lbs. from the floor, unassisted continuously throughout the day.
