NFI Massachusetts Inc. is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residential Manager to lead our Haverhill transitional age youth program in Haverhill Ma. The program works with youth referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) ages 17-22 who have social, emotional, mental health, and behavioral challenges, with histories of complex trauma.
The therapeutic milieu is designed to support youth emotionally, educationally, vocationally, and socially to achieve independence and successfully move into the community as successful adults.
As the Residential Manager, you will oversee a team dedicated to helping youth and families in crisis by offering:
- Crisis intervention and stabilization
- Intensive family therapy
- Clinical assessments and individualized treatment recommendations
- Onsite educational and therapeutic groups covering topics such as anger management, life skills, healthy relationships, substance abuse, and anxiety management

Salary: $63,000 annually
Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in the planning and implementation of the daily activities schedule.
- Assists in developing, executing and reporting on client treatment plans.
- Leads staff meetings and/or clinical meetings.
- Provides individual supervision to assigned staff on a weekly or biweekly basis.
- Provides 24-hour on-call coverage as assigned.
- Screens applicants for open positions and assists with interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Ensures the fiscal integrity of client and program funds.
- Ensures that program staffing is adequate and manages schedules accordingly.
- Ensures accurate and timely internal and external reporting for all programmatic needs/requirements.
- Oversees facility and vehicle maintenance and upkeep as assigned.
- Oversees food services component as assigned.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform oral and/or physical interventions in the event of a client crisis, per program/contract requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree in psychology, sociology or other related field of study
- Experience working with a similar population and/or a similar program preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, conflict resolution and team building skills.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is a must.
