Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in daily operations, assist with prescription processing, and help ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing
- Accurately enter prescription data into the pharmacy system
- Prepare, label, and package medications
- Maintain proper inventory levels and assist with ordering
- Handle insurance claims and resolve basic billing issues
- Provide professional and courteous service to patients and healthcare partners
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy workspace
Qualifications
- Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State pharmacy technician license/registration (as required)
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: Negotiable (based on experience)
