Your mission will be to create meaningful, engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents while providing an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.
What you will do:
As a Recreation Assistant, you will:
- Develop and implement engaging wellness programs tailored to residents in Long-Term Care, Memory Care, or Rehab settings.
- Complete assessments, care plans, and associated paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ensure all activities meet local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to build staff morale and enhance resident experiences.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Publisher to create monthly calendars, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Most importantly, bring the fun to daily activities and special events.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Publisher.
- Creativity, energy, and a positive attitude.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and compassionate.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with seniors and their families.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and community members.
