What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Shipping/Receiving position at NIA?
Material Handler
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, bundling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products. This is a list of typical job duties, but all NIA team members will be expected to help out in all areas of the company.

Technical Skills
· Forklift experience with bundles or other materials in excess of twenty or more feet in length
· Ability to organize material inside narrow aisles
· Working closely with production to ensure accurate and complete bundles
· Ability to learn new computer software as it pertains to internal material accountability
· Combi-Lift Experience Preferred
Tasks
· Un-rack/Bundle material processed by NIA
· Move materials to proper departments
· Organize bundles based on color coordinated paperwork and outlined storage areas
· Load/Unload trucks with a forklift or pallet jack
· Count incoming material
· Document counts on incoming material
· Communicating with the sales team regarding differences in received material
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
