We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team!

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and components related to commercial kitchen equipment. From concept development to prototyping and testing, you will play a key role in bringing our projects to life. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong engineering/project management skills, hands on development capabilities, and understanding of heat transfer, gas combustion, and basic electrical heating systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform analysis to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed drawings and models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specification.
• Prototype and test mechanical designs, analyzing results and iterating as necessary to achieve desired performance objectives.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle, implementing effective solutions to address challenges.
• Hands on direct involvement in R&D and manufacturing.
• Working with technologies of heat transfer and gas combustion with a strong understanding of the underlying principles and application involved. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relatable. 
• Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and prototyping, preferably in a manufacturing setting with sheet metal.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks,) for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of related heat transfer and gas combustion.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.

Must be able to lift 50lbs using correct ergonomic posture.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
