OPPORTUNITY
Position: IT Business Analyst
Reports to: Global Director, IT
Location: Hybrid, Waukegan, Illinois, about 40 miles north of Chicago’s Loop
Position Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the dynamic and frequently demanding system needs of the Nielsen-Massey Vanilla team located remotely, and at the corporate office in Waukegan IL. This Role will support Operations and Supply Chain team applications, people, processes, and projects, to increase functional effectiveness, resolve issues, and improve staff knowledge and operation of related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with Supply Chain team members to investigate and resolve application issues/encumbrances across multiple related functional areas to include warehouse management, order entry, production order processing, and ERP.
- Leads, manages, and implements changes and updates as needed to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and operational efficiency of the systems.
- Administers project management processes and documents where needed to manage tasks and projects.
- Maintains and tracks IT service requests in workflow management system.
- Provides IT support to Customer Service for the EDI system and trading partner onboarding.
- Works with the EDI VAN service provider to manage timely service delivery as it relates to active projects.
- Ensures timely and thorough communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Provides solutions-driven collaboration with team members’ process improvement initiatives and projects.
- Analyzes current business processes on-going to make recommendations for improvement based on professional business knowledge and experience.
- Perform other IT related duties as assigned.
- Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance.

Knowledge and Characteristics:
MUSTS:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent; or eight or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Well-developed analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize own work.
- Must be able to work autonomously or collaboratively with team members to learn, analyze, and respond to a wide variety of IT related queries, issues, initiatives, and projects.
WANTS:

- Experience in a family or privately held business.
- Experience working in ERP systems and light SQL server skills for querying data required; EDI experience desirable.
- Working knowledge of supply chain processes and experience working in warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
Salary : $83,000 - $85,000
