In the kitchen at Niffer’s, our goal to is serve the customer the highest quality food, cooked for optimal taste, and within a timely manner. The right person for this job should be able to effectively communicate with the entire kitchen staff, be team oriented, maintain a positive attitude, follow directions, and have an attention to detail.
Responsibilities of a kitchen employee:
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of your station, including equipment, coolers, cutting boards, and knives
- Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety standards
- Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
- Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
