Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist to make a positive impact on the lives of inmates and contribute to their rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mental health services under the guidance of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose psychiatric disorders, developing effective treatment plans.
- Participate in crisis interventions, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
- Document all care provided, including participation in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings.
- Maintain safety and security, ensuring proper conduct of inmates to prevent any harm.
Requirements
- Current LCSW certification valid in California.
- Minimum 12 continuous months of similar experience within the last 3 years.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
