Nigrelli, Inc. is the Kiel, Wisconsin based parent company to three divisions; AquaMaster Fountains, On-Target Machine, and Land Master Lighting; that work in tandem to produce floating fountains and aeration systems, lighting options for the fountains as well as for your landscape needs.

Summary

The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting all AquaMaster and Land Master products and providing technical support according to established company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead all activities related to distributor service issues
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal laws within OSHA, EPA, and labor laws
  • Follow all rules established by the site
  • Coordinate activities with distributors and their contractors while on their customer sites
  • Document and record all service calls in case management
  • Assist distributors activities related to install or repair of electrical, mechanical, paint, or fabricated systems
  • Be the point of contact for distributors with new or ongoing issues
  • Interface with other shop supervisors, staff, production management, production supporting design engineers and management
  • Follow all established quality guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as requested
  • Ability to assess and make decisions to assist distributors in the field while on the telephone
  • Service school
  • Electrical assembly as needed
  • Training of new hires in electrical related departments

· Strong knowledge of electrical components and troubleshooting

· Strong mechanical background

· Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to use ERP systems, including data entry

· Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

· Requires a tactful manner, stable personality, and pleasant telephone manner with the ability to handle pressure and stressful situations

Education and/or Experience

· Education, training, or experience in electrical and or mechanical fields required

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing

Physical Demands

· Bending, reaching, stooping

· Standing, sitting, kneeling

· Hand-eye coordination

· Depth perception and the ability to adjust vision

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

All employees work in a climate-controlled production facility environment. However, some positions may be exposed to hot temperatures in the summer months and cold temperatures in the winter months. Safety shoes and eye protection are required at all times, as well as any other PPE identified by the company.

Pay Range Model according to years of service:

Entry level pay: <4 years

Median level pay: 4 - 6 years

Top level pay: 6 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
