Responsibilities

Purpose:

Perform one or more following routine clerical responsibilities by specific and detailed accounting procedures or the management’s direction.

Essential Duties:

• 20% Examine, verify and correct accounting transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy of data and proper identification of accounts.
• 20% Check that expenditures will not exceed obligations in specific accounts.
• 20% Total, Balance and reconcile collection vouchers.
• 20% Post data to transaction sheets where he or she identifies proper accounts and items to be posted.
• 20% Code documents in accordance with listing of accounts.
• General business support function as assigned.

Salary: $17.00 - $21.26

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

· Basic knowledge of routine clerical methods and office practices and procedures as they related to the clerical processing and recording of transactions and accounting information.

· Relative computer knowledge and skills.

Organization Relationships: Reports to Accounting Assistant Manager

Work Environment:
