Responsibilities
Ability to effectively communicate with the customer to properly prepare necessary documents to coordinate a residential or organizational move.
- Customer Service; ability to effectively communication by email or phone with the customer to complete necessary documents required to coordinate the move
- Ensure all documentation relating to shipment is properly completed as required
- Interact closely with the moving team in preparation of the customer goods
- Coordinate with the moving team to ensure proper packing, removing and loading of customer’s goods
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the moving team
- Have a chauffeur license or able to obtain one to drive box truck for department
- General business support function as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/ Japanese; ability to read, write & speak English and Japanese and tranlate to any non Japanes speaking staff
- Computer skills to include data entry and the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to clearly communication directions to the driver and moving team
- Ability to work overtime to meet the customer needs
- Strong customer service skills
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service
- Must have a chauffeur license ot ability to obtain one to drive box truck when needed
- Good driving record
Organization Relationships:
Will work with all levels in the organization as well as Customers.
Work Environment:
(With or without accommodations) This position is predominantly at the work site (customer house) packing/unpacking, loading/unloading truck, comunicating with Japanese customers and informing staff of what work needs to be done.
