Manufacturing Supervisor

Join Us! Manufacturing Supervisor Needed for Night Shift!

Supervises Manufacturing Functions by supervising the prior and/or latter processes; by developing and maintaining QS9000/TS16949 compliant manufacturing procedures; by identifying and reporting potential safety hazards; by assisting the Assistant Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Director of Manufacturing with Quality continuous improvement activities as assigned; Communicates with other departments, or managers, or supervisors on a daily basis as necessary; by taking appropriate action during a fire, power outage, or severe weather condition; by performing departmental tests; and by developing a reaction plan for quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conforming product, and set-up countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.

Ensures Effective Operations by interviewing, hiring, and training operators; by supervising operators in all aspects of their job duties; by wearing and promoting the use of proper PPE; by maintaining work areas and promoting the principles of 5S; by meeting and/or exceeding the daily production targets through scheduling of operators to maximize productivity and minimize downtime; by supporting and projecting a positive behavior style and attitude toward NAMI policies; by learning, practicing and teaching all manufacturing techniques; by maintaining a high quality product level, and taking appropriate action when unusual occurrences happen; by maintaining positive departmental discipline procedures; and by documenting and administrating performance reviews to subordinate Staff.

Maintains Documentation by completing all necessary documents in a clear and timely manner; by submitting written improvement suggestions; by contributing to departmental improvements through the creation of work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOP), troubleshooting guides, etc.; by understanding and supervising the weekly process of payroll time sheets; by accurately reporting on-the-job accidents; and by ensuring accuracy of all documentation.

Keeps Senior Management Informed by participating in meetings; by reporting problems to Senior Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems; and by recommending changes for improvements in the Company's functions to Senior Management.

Supervises Staff by providing direction and delegating responsibilities to subordinate Staff; by evaluating work performed by subordinate Staff; by training Staff when necessary; by providing subordinate Staff with regular feedback; by conducting Performance Appraisals; and by contributing to employment decisions (i.e. promotions, salary adjustments, termination, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,830.80 - $68,441.39 per year
