About the Role:
The Senior Manager - Corporate Supply Chain plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for developing strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across multiple business units. The role requires close collaboration with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with corporate objectives. The Senior Manager will lead continuous improvement projects, leveraging data analytics and industry best practices to drive innovation and operational excellence. Ultimately, this role ensures that the supply chain supports the company’s growth and competitive advantage by delivering reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
Essential Duties:
- Develops strategic and tactical supply chain objectives within assigned areas.
- Provides leadership and training to enhance core supply chain knowledge across the team.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Serves as a key participant and liaison in transformational supply chain projects.
- Supports the S&OP process through data collection, report generation, and meeting facilitation.
- Collaborate with Niterra global partners to advance supply chain goals and objectives.
- Support KPI assessment and recommend improvements to Director and Vice President of SCM.
- Train and manage plant SCM staff in forecasting, planning, and logistics.
- Represent SCM in cross-functional strategy discussions (Sales, Finance, etc.).
- Review offsite SCM processes and suggest enhancements.
- Contribute to global SCM best practice sharing initiatives.
- Participate in annual SCM budget planning.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for SCM assets (warehouses/DCs).
- Understand OEM and Aftermarket business operations.
- Apply Toyota Production System and lean manufacturing principles.
- Travel as needed for SCM KPI benchmarking across regions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, J-Sox, and safety-related policies
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years work experience supply chain environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervising/mentoring others and/or managing a team experience
- Work experience in global materials planning and experience in MRP system (SAP preferred)
- Strong analytical skill and ability to strategically approach and achieve the corporate objectives and goals
- Possesses a strong working knowledge of current best Supply Chain practices.
Salary : $121,900 - $139,700
