Qualifications
- Ideally, two years of Nursing Home Experience.
- Admission Coordinator experience with Intermediate & Skilled Care Facilities
- Insurance verification
- Obra screening with Maximus
- Outgoing personality with the ability to connect with family and referral partners over the phone
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Manage referral process
- Make regular contact with referral partners
- In-depth knowledge of the admission process and Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care, and other payer types
- Complete admission of new residents
