Job Summary:
The administrative assistant is responsible for working closely with the administrative team to ensure for smooth day-to-day operations of the company in addition to overseeing basic business operations. Qualified candidates must have physician credentialing skills as well as managing office maintenance, being self-motivated, and most importantly enjoy working as part of a team. Business skills must be intact in this executive assistant role, work closely with the Director and CEO to carry out a variety of business tasks which includes day to day operations.
Basic Qualification and Must-Have Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Work Experience: Three to five years working within a medical office.
Skills and Requirements:
o Requires general knowledge in the application of principles and practices of general business administration to include accounting, power point, excel and word processing .
o Excellent oral and written communications skills
o Leadership and supervisory skills.
o Excellent computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft office
o Must be able to complete and pass required background screening.
o Ability to be a self-starter, able to multi-task and have good critical thinking skills in a fast passed environment
Duties include, but not limited to,
- Credentialing of physicians with insurance companies
- Supervision of staff and student volunteers
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks
- Assist the Director and CEO in the creation and oversight of appropriate business procedures and policies.
- Effectively handle customer service issues as they may arise
- Experience with medical software
- Responsible for building maintenance and ordering supplies
- Establish and maintain external relationships related to business operations of (vendors, contracted services, and medical suppliers
- Cross train on all business tasks with other administrative staff at other locations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Skills in marketing/advertising is helpful, but not necessary

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
