What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Prewire Lead man position at NKC of America?
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
Ability to install limit switches, proximity switches, 208VAC, and 480VAC motors, run cables in cable tray, cat track, and conduit.
Ability to wire 3-phase motors, energize, and test amp draw.
Excel in wiring low-volt terminal boxes, junction boxes, and motor control boxes.
Great knowledge of industrial electrical field wiring.
Understand how to operate all electrical equipment and machinery.
Ability to manage a team during time-restraint projects.
Ability to control man hours and reduce cost impact.
Ability to fill out safety reports and progress reports.
Material Control
Great understanding of general conveyor operations.
Ability to teach and improve team members.
Some travel is required.
Responsible for their safety and others.
Responsible for their team and projects.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred journeyman electrical skills or equivalent.
Preferred leadership experience
preferred 5 plus years experience.
