Job Duties and Responsibilities: Manage collection, organization, maintenance and dissemination of University's facility space data; supervise the creation and maintenance of building floor plans for space inventory purposes; recommend allocation/reallocation of space between major academic and /or administrative units using comparative analysis based on adopted standards. Prepare state and federal reports; assign official building and room numbers; determine formula funding eligibility. Consults with a variety of personnel to determine space needs; recommends and allocates usage of space based on client needs and university policies and procedures. Inspects buildings and office areas to evaluate suitability for occupancy, considering such factors as air circulation, lighting, location, and size. Supervises the work of staff performing design functions to ensure completeness and accuracy of facilities layout. Measures or directs other workers engaged in the measurement of facilities to determine total square footage available. May review real estate contracts for compliance with specifications and suitability for occupancy. Maintains unit/division space files and database. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Required Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field.; Required Experience:Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Equivalent Qualifications
Associate's Degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience.
OR
HS Diploma and nine (9) years of relevant experience.
OR
Any equivalent combination of education or experience as approved by HRS

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.
Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
